Looking for help with your dog?

Whether you have a new puppy, you're working through a behaviour issue or you simply want better obedience and communication, we're here to help.

Initial consultation

Our initial consultation is the first step in understanding you and your dog.

During the session, we'll look at your dog's behaviour, training history, motivation and the way you work together. We'll also look at what you're currently doing and where you want to go from here.

From there, we'll put together a practical training plan based on your goals and your dog's individual needs. There is no magic fix and no one-size-fits-all approach. Training takes time, consistency and owner involvement, but we'll give you clear direction on what to work on and how to move forward.

Initial consultation: approximately 2 hours  - $250.

Puppy Foundation & Training

The earlier you start building good habits, the easier they are to carry forward.

Our one-on-one puppy training focuses on helping you and your puppy build a strong foundation from the start. We work on engagement, motivation, socialisation and basic obedience, while also teaching your puppy how to handle everyday things such as grooming, vet visits, handling and crate training.

Just as importantly, we teach you how to communicate with your puppy and how to continue the training at home. The goal is to help you build a puppy who is confident, engaged and happy to learn with you.

Basic Obedience & Training

Our Basic Obedience & Training package builds on the insights from your initial consultation. It includes 10 weekly one-on-one sessions, each about an hour long, held indoors or outdoors depending on what suits your training goals.

We dive deeper into the skills introduced during your consultation, focusing on essential markers, clear communication and consistent management. Each session builds on the last, giving you structured time to practise and progress with your dog.

We cover both the theory and practical side of dog training, with demonstrations using your dog or, when appropriate, one of our demo dogs.

We’ll also look at the importance of using food and play in training and how to use them effectively to work towards your obedience goals.

Throughout the package, you’ll receive guidance, demonstrations, a training plan and ongoing support to help you stay on track between sessions.

Your dog’s progress will depend on your growth as a handler. The results will follow your commitment, time and consistency.

Treadmill Sessions

Looking for a way to exercise your dog without the stress of a busy dog park?

Treadmill sessions can be a great option for dogs who struggle around other dogs, are reactive, or simply need a controlled environment for physical and mental exercise.

The treadmill we use is mechanical, meaning the belt moves with your dog’s movement. Your dog chooses whether to walk or run and can work at a pace they are comfortable with.

Treadmill work can be used to build confidence, fitness and endurance, or simply to give your dog another way to get some exercise.

If your dog is recovering from an injury, treadmill exercise should only be used with appropriate veterinary guidance and clearance.

Each session is tailored to your dog, with the focus on making the experience positive and helping them become comfortable and confident on the treadmill.

Play time

Your dog isn't interested in playing? We come across this more often than you might think.

Many dog owners assume dogs instinctively know how to play, but for some dogs, play is a skill that needs to be developed and practised.

Maybe your dog shows little interest in the toy, chases it but doesn't bring it back, or loses interest halfway through. After a few attempts, it’s easy to think your dog simply doesn't like to play - and stop trying.

We’ll teach you how to engage with your individual dog, whether you have a playful puppy, an adult dog or a senior, and how to adapt games for different environments, both indoors and outdoors.

With step-by-step practice and personalised guidance, you’ll learn how to make play more rewarding and meaningful for your dog.

Play isn't just about having fun. It can become a great way to build engagement, motivation and a stronger bond with your dog. Let’s make play something you both enjoy.

Advanced Obedience & Training

Ready to take your training further?

Our Advanced Obedience training builds on the foundations and takes them into more challenging environments, with a focus on precision, reliability and engagement.

We work around distractions, build more advanced routines and behaviours, and can tailor the training to suit your goals. For those interested in dog sports, elements of IGP or Scentwork can also be incorporated into your training.

Training is structured but always keeps the dog engaged and enjoying the work. Whether you want a more reliable dog in everyday life, are interested in exploring dog sports, or simply want to see what you and your dog can achieve together, this is the next step in your training.
